Everyone is a hero, Spirits You're a hero because you survived an accidental account deletion!

Good to know about the fansubs...I didn't figure they were truly "legal."

...of course, much of my anime watching comes from fansubs...I watch some via Cartoon Network, but there's a lot more that I'd LIKE to watch that I really can't imagine will ever come to America....

So, are they unethical? I can see both arguments...and kind of agree with both sides on the issue.

hmm, favourite anime eh? tough.
i'd say some of my faves are
Chobits
Trigun
Jubei-Chan 2: Revenge of the Siberian Yagyuu
Full Metal Alchemist
One Piece
Naruto
Dragonball
Samurai Jack
Chrno Crusade
Angelic Layer
FLCL

hmm, i don't actually like Neon Genesis Evangelion almost solely on the basis that everyone seems to love it. and yes, i have seen all of it.

hmm, the Journey to the West anime, cant remember the name, bored the hell outta me. stopped watching that. Witch Hunter Robin was lame too. Noir was good, but slow as hell, and what was with the flashbacks?

saw some of Samurai Champloo and loved it, but i didnt manage to get anymore :/

most recent i've seen is Sunabozu, but its getting boring also. there seems to be a huge lull in good anime recently. and i'd dearly love to see Escaflowne.

i've moved into Manga recently because it just seems so much better to the anime versions ^_^

no, they arn't unethical, since by watching the anime, you are actually helping the people who make it, since, since you watch the anime before it's out in the U.S . That means they already have customers and watchers even before it's out. Also, the more popular an anime is, the higher chance there is of that anime being licensed. which is why it's not unethical. and well.. it's actually helpful.. same thing with Fan-scanlated manga.

Edit: I'm a hero! whoo Hoo!

Meh... anime doesn't do much for me. I find it strange that a particular style by itself can be so adored. Especially a style that I don't particularly like. So no... not a fan.

Bleach is pretty damn good... until you get to the Naruto bits where it's juts FIGHT. REST. TRAIN. FIGHT SOME MORE. GET A NEW UBER-ABILITY.

It's like a video game plot, and guss what? If I wanted a video game, I'd play a video game.

Luckily with the latest exposition in the manga (URAHARA DID WHAT?) I can feel my interest returning. And of course, I love Renji.
