As the title suggests. I'm not having any luck, I have drank a litre of orange juice, a litre of water, a coffee and some other juice, and it isn't getting any better. What should I drink? It is very irritating.

Honey does help, it might be an oncoming cold/throat ache if drinking doesn't help. Oh, don't take coffee though, that's gonna do nothing to alleviate your thirst. Just drink water or something. but honey really works wonders whenever my throat is dry.
Oh and depending on what kind of dryness it is: 1. if it's a lack of phlegm, try drinking milk or eating chocolate. If it's dryness that might develop into a sore throat you could also try gargling with salt water.

Mel is right that you shouldn't drink anything caffienated. Sucking on a lemon slice works for some people, as do hard candies. This is also a frequent side-effect of many medications, especially decongestants.
