I want to take him down. Yes, i'm a meddling do-gooder. Is there any way to do it or is he just always there as the thief guildmaster? I tried talking to Mr. Lex after finding out from the beggars about him, and then I even joined the guild but noone seems to care. I can do this. I'm crazy enough I tell you. Just point me in the right direction?

Fraid not (as far as I know) even if you did find him, if you tried to kill him, he would just go "Unconscious" like all important characters

Yeah I started to suspect this. I had killed the recruitment guy who puts you to the test, and he just got back up and kicked me out of the guild. Bah.

If I knew anything about scripting, I'd make it...but scripting is beyond my level of comprehension with the TES editor...I can make a decent building, even one with properly placed doors, and could probably struggle my way through a questless merchant, but dialogue and quests require scripting in some strange psuedocode that I've yet to figure out.

Yeah I'd love to bring him down. A series of quests for Paladins like me to rid the city of this guy for once and for all.
