Default Labor Day speech and unemployment...

WOW, I could not believe CNN reported such horrendous news, the POTUS has set yet another milestone, unemployment has reached levels not seen in over 25 years. Even worse, Blacks are hovering around the +16% mark.

The POTUS is challenging Congress to step up...Well POTUS, when are you going to step up, should be the question!

As the President can't legislate, what pray tell could he do to increase jobs?

That's a fair question. Just remember the same benefit of the doubt applies next time we have a Repub POTUS....although you probably won't have to worry about that till 2016.

Still cannot believe the damage one republican president can do in 2 terms. It's like he trashed the place and we have to rebuild from the ground up - how is this man not in jail?

Many would say the current Dem POTUS has done an almost equal amount of damage in half the time.

For the sake of clarity, though, exactly what damage(s) are you addressing or referring to?

Oh the usual really. The raping of the economy, butchering of the constitution, abuse of power, torture of prisoners, wars that were based on lies, thousands of soldiers killed because of it etc. etc. I'm sure you could find hundreds of websites, blogs and articles online now that go into far greater detail of documenting that mess.

erm...because he didn't commit any crimes, just like Obama hasn't committed any crimes. Besides, it has been 2.5 years since he left--time to let it go and focus on the here and now.

Well, nothing that they can get him on. Fall guys are a great thing. The torture alone should have been enough for a trial at the very least. Tried by the American people because their values have been violated. Then a trial because of the sons & daughters who died in vain at his command. At least give them some justice. Definately not America's finest moment.

As for the here and now, well, that's why i'm bringing it up. Look where we are because of him. I mean really, is there anything that he has not broken? No need to defend him, he's gone.
