Encard move sot the mousehole, looks at it with some spells, and puts a small object from his bag in it. There is a hissing noise, and then the wall suddenly shudders, as though there was an explosion inside it.

You could use the cloak of the sewers and shapechange into a rat, then you can really look into it. But be carefull though. I'll be right behind you

A word of advice; maybe it would be smart to select someone to keep things going in your absence.
To the rest: It appears all kind of evil vermin threatens our beautiful queen, so i will apoint myself as her bodyguard. Other paladins are free to join as well!
