Seesh, and here I was thinking I was so clever because I stumbled upon this solution of killing them while sitting on the Castle wall, guess I wasn't alone in my geniusness, [img]graemlins/dunce.gif[/img]

My experiance is much like Olli Kalma's, they got me when I was wandering around in the dark exploring after leaving Ishad N'ha for the first time. By the light of day I could see them in the little north/south path just south of the lake. There were three of them (possibly four) however, they seemed to be stuck within the confines of the path and not able to pursue me. I just walked into range, Flame Dropped them, backed away and watched the damage counter. When the counter stopped I moved in and Flame Dropped them again until they were all crispy.

The Jungle Lilys in the narrow confines of the Boogre Caves gave me much more of a problem as they were able to move around and follow me and I got poisoned frequently. I used Burning Haze and lots of Mana top-ups in dealing with them.

haha i see that there are so many ways to kill those darn salads...... i would just incinerate them (especially those lilies in the boogre prison!) or firestorm them. it seems that firestorm is the only spell that is most efficient coz plants are weak against fire, right?

but if you're really really really really really REALLY brave (or should i say crazy???

), you can stock up on hell lotsa potions and just chiong ar!!! *cut cut slash slash OUCH hack hack OOF cut slash* whew............

I just use my favourite spell : Elemental Blast. When at a distance my wizard can cast this spell repeatadly so just BLAST BLAST BLAST and they're gone!

Think I used firebreath (and later, magma ball) on'em. It worked fine if they were far away when you noticed'em...

Hey, Carefull with all of those storm spells.
There is someone lurking in the shadows along the woodline that you are trying to burn, freeze, or rock into non exiestience.

I use two approaches. One for low level, or the first run. The other for high level.

#1. Stone'em. Cast turn to stone. Get them all stoned, then you can blast them with small spells, shock, or burn or whatever. Whats cool about the stone? You can push them all over the place. Make your own salad garden if you will.

#2. For the second run. Hide in shadows, walk right up to it, and just stab it with your trusty favorite 1h sword and Assassins dagger. It be salad time before ya know it.

For the fliers, I use sleep or whatever, (been playing Morrowind too much) and let them drop back to the ground, then hack'em up good.

but it's hard to imagine sabastio winning the battle against several mantraps.......

as for the poll on killing mantraps, the easiest way is to fry them and get coleslaw (or however u spell that vegetable...) for dinner ON THE SPOT!
