Has anyone ever posted a price list for non-magical items? My palidan is too fat and lazy to carry and sell inexpensive items. In fact, he is now threatening to eat Boo's head if I ask him to carry one more greenstone ring. If I had a price list of how much items will sell for, it just may save the little rat's life.

It depends on many things:

1.How high charisma you have.

2.How high reputation you have.

3.Where you sell them.

But I can tell you;
Greenstone tings aren't worth squat

WELCOME, PETER!

Can you tell us what items you are referring to?
There are too many items in the game, that we can just name them.

see ya!

NOn Magical things usually arnt worth to much...
Quarterstaffs- Get rid of Em, there worth GP
Axes- Keep only if u need alot of money quickly there worth about 1Gp
Rings- Again, Keep only if u need fast money- 1-5Gp Depending on what its made of.
Necklaces- Keep the ones u find to be worth more otherwise fast money only 1-10Gp
Longswords- Fast MOney Again- about 1Gp
Two Handed Swords- About 2Gp
Leather Armour- THROUGH IT AWAY!! 1GP FOR SOMETHING THAT HEAVY ISNT WORTH IT EVEN FR FAST MONEY.
Studded Leather- No MOre than 5Gp
Short Swords- 1gp
Jewels- Keep only for fast money- 1-7GP (note that this assumes rogue stones are enchanted)
Short BOws- Fast MOney Again- 1GP
Ankheg Shells- Either Get them made into armour or through em away- there worth 0Gp as they are.
PLate Mail- U should be equiping this if you can and u dont have better armour, but to sell, its always worth it- Cant remember exact value, but fairly high.
SCrolls/Potions/Wands- Theyre Magical.
Full Plate- DONT SELL IT UNLESS YOU CANT EQUIP IT. THIS IS THE BEST NON MAGICAL ARMOUR YOU CAN GET INTHE GAME, but if u want to sell it, its worth a bit more than plate mail.
Bullets,Arrows, Bolts- Drop em or use em. there worth literally nothing.
Daggers- Fast MOney ONly Again- 1GP
LongBows- 2Gp
This should cover it i think, NOte that fast money means keep them only if you need all the money you can get and quickly- if you have any more than about 5, 000 GP, drop them.
Also this is only a very rough out line of it- i cant remeber the exact values of everything, but this should be somewhere around the actual values. I hope.

Thanks, that's basically what the lard wants to know. However, I'm a little skeptical about some of your numbers; I seem to recall gold items being worth some decent cash. But I'll check first before I call you a liar.

Welcome to the forum!

I agree, some of those numbers aren't right. I'm sure I've sold a number of gems for upwards of 30 gp, and the same goes for rings. the most common ones are cheap, but there are definetly some pretty common and more expensive items out there.

Most stuff is worth nothing (in practical terms). id just get one of each container and keep all the goodish stuff. all gems, jewellry, the better armour, all scrolls (tend to be worth a fair amount as i recal) and the bigger weapons. but unless im really cash strapped (and i never am) i restrict myself to weapons of at least +1 rating, or i'll never finish selling it all. ammo as well - its actually worth only a tiny fraction of what youd pay for it, so keep it unless you cant use it or have a lot of that type.

magical bullets can be in short supply whereas bolts and arrows seem to be more common, so keep more sling stones. theres a container just fo ammo if you have ToB, itll fill a bag of holding real quick. unless you have the patch for a bottomless bag of course.
