Oh Drew, surely you know that THAT is not possible! You SELL that here, not lose it!

Regardless, I managed to lose my car once...can remember what I was being punished for, though....

My father once lost his car too.

He went to sleep at a motel for two days, and when he went to leave, his car was gone. Apparently you can't stay parked at the same spot in that area for more than 24 hours, so they just moved the car to a random other parking spot, without telling they did, or where...

Took a while to realise what happened, and find the car. Have you ever tried walking through the city to find your misplaced car? Not funny...

I lost an 8 foot longboard once... set it down at a beach near Acapulco to get a cerveza, turn around 30 seconds later & the thing's gone.

THAT sucked

Sometimes when I'm walking to my car I don't pay attention and walk past where I parked. It's embarrassing when I have to backtrack to where it is. Especially when someone's following me to take my park! Does that count? I don't usually lose stuff because I obsessively check my stuff every few minutes.

Oh sometimes I lose files that I download because I have a bad habit of just saving them in whatever directory comes up, not remembering which one it was, and then I can't find them again later
