rig up my jukebox into my car? It is a Land Rover Discovery, 2004 model with a 6 cd changer. Is there a way to plug in the mp3 into the speakers through a line out or something? It would save the hastle of having to take cds around?

It should be possible since I have not long since read a big article detailing how to setup a pc in your car and a guy did it in his ford focus.

Cheers

Ross

Side note: nice ride

What matters is your stereo; my truck's stereo has an AUX Line In that takes a male 1/8 " headphone plug, so I just had to order a 2-male-sided headphone cord & now I plug my iPod directly into the stereo.

One of those old 1/8 " headphone cable --> magnetic cassete tape converters would also work, if your sweet ride even has a tape player...

Well it does indeed have a tape player. So should I just check the AUX line?

My stereo's an old discontinued Kenwood model, and (from talking to friends) the Auxiliary Input is an unusual sort of thing...

If you've got it / something similar, sweet... otherwise, the cassette converter works just fine.

On a related note, I have a home cinema system and was wondering if it possible to plug the mp3 player into it? Would you do it through lineout at the back of the DVD player or what?

Cheers

Well I have researched my first question, and I found the tape accesory you were speaking about

How ever I also found this aswell

Now both are compatible with my mp3 player, but the second looks slightly classier and costs more. Is there any difference in quality, because that is what I am interested in?

Ross if you're really stuck just get yourself an FM tuner to run it through. Basically hooks up to any device and will transmit the sound through an FM radio frequency. I've never used one myself but they are quite popular down here.
