I think if you're already close friends with whomever you are going to meet, taking your sig. other can be fun. But if you're not that close, it probably is more fun to go without him/her, as they probably have never read the forum, get none of the inside jokes, don't know anybody...

Still, I think it's a GREAT idea - a lot of us have met amongst ourselves already in Europe, in Australia, in the US...I think it's quite amazing, really. [img]smile.gif[/img]

My parents wouldn't drive down to Florida from NY on a 2 day trip for a party unfourtunately, however, were I 18 and had a car, I'd be there by now.

Atlanta is about the only city I COULD make it to. I live just a little over 100 miles away. But my wife would have to "babysit" all three boys by herself for me to make it.

So, I'd have to be listed as doubtful, but I could always try to do some "sweet talk". Also, DragonMage lives very close to Atlanta. Maybe she and her hubby could make it too.

Keep me posted as to When and Where and I'll see what I can do.

Would love to come out and see y'all, even if it was only for a few hours. Atlanta I think is about a 6 hour drive for me, been so long since I have left this state I just cant remember, well hell if I drive it a 90 mph it should be all good [img]smile.gif[/img] provided ya want me there. If I am not in school and my father is doing fine I am sure my wifey and kidlet's will fine with it

Kewl I figure it's only about a 60-70 hr drive each way, uh....what part of october you thinkin' Z? - may need recuperation from b-day bash celebrating the last one b4 official middle age onset first part of oct.
