The new tech thread is complete

I´ve finally finished the two last categories and sent them to Bungleau and Detah. Hopefully they will be up soon. The index is already edited and will be working when the two posts are added.

Some related notes. Bungleau would you mind removing your last post in the tech thread? I fear we´re going to need the room lol. And packrat, when I ahve time I´ll browse through the old tech thread for unsolved problems and add them as a single entry in a new category. Would you be able to post that one? Bear in mind though, that category is probably the one that needs the most editing. [img]smile.gif[/img] Oh and packrat. Would you mind editing out the 2.6 entry from the graphics post? The one about directx. That one has been merged into the directx post in pregame issues [img]smile.gif[/img]

Ive been offline for the last 3.5 days. HD crashed and I lost all data.
Installed a new one late last night and still have not had a chance to check my email. Will append to the techie thread in the next 48 hours.

I´m sorry to hear that Detah. I´m experiencing the same problem. BOTH my drives crashed yesterday. So please hang on to your txt files in case we need them again... Hopefully my computer will be running again next week, for now I´ve kidnapped the hubby´s [img]graemlins/evillaughter2.gif[/img]

NOW it´s complete [img]graemlins/thewave.gif[/img] and all in order. To answer your statement about entry 5.1, the index links to entry 1.11 I think. Try the link and you´ll get to the answer [img]smile.gif[/img] . It´s indexed, cross indexed and then a tad mixed after my recipe lol

In that case, how about making a 5.1 entry that just says "See 1.11" (or whatever it is)? I can imagine more than a few folks looking at it and wondering where the info is, particularly if they are skimming the list instead of using the index.

Woo-hoo! After all these months, that bad boy's put to rest! I'd say let's head over to the Boogre Bar to celebrate, but the place seems dead lately.

Ah, heck -- I'll treat to a round at the Boogre Bar. And if no one shows up, that's more for me to drink!
