***This is now my FOURTH try posting this !#$%!#$^$&%^& message! I hate computers and never want to see one again! Well, at least for another ten minutes...***
Well, it looks like we've got an introduction and an index. Now, for some content... We'd talked about a format along the lines of: Symptom: Real Problem: Solution: Recognition: such as... Symptom: Cannot leave town Real Problem: Town .avi files are compressed and won't work properly. This is a problem for Win 2000 and XP. Solution: Download virtualdub and decompress the files. 1. Go to http://www.virtualdub.org and download virtualdub. Install it. 2. Load the file townmsk1.avi from the Townavi directory in your Wizards & Warriors folder into Virtualdub. 3. Save it (with a different name, such as townmska.avi) with the "Save as old-format AVI". You will get back a 32MB file. 4. Rename this file townmsk1.avi (over the old file). 5. Repeat for townmsk2.avi and townmsk3.avi. Recognition: Thanks to Sazerac, Ryanmur, and Xignal for their past input into solving this problem. What do you all think? Your thoughts and input are requested... and I'm pretty sure I misremembered the title in the index, but I'll change that later.

Yes the layout looks good Bungleau (add for instance 1.3 Cannot... after symptoms to provide an easy link from the index). And add the a name tag:
<*a name="#11">1.1<*/a>"Can´t enter buildings in town. (without the stars) But Detah, I think we ought to divide the posts so that you´ve got one or two each (if there´s people willing??). The maintenance would then be a bit easier, since we don´t have to wait on one person to do all the changes. [ 07-31-2002, 06:33 AM: Message edited by: WillowIX ]

I should quite likely be done tonight. So time is not a problem. But I would greatly appreciate another person's editing when I am finished. Mostly just to touch it up and check for logic errors. After you've looked at this for 15+ hours, even the blatant errors look correct. I'll pass it on to whoever wants it when I am finished.

You guys are awesome. I don't think that I could sit there and do that for 15 hours (of course I'm still really young). I can't wait to see this tech index when it is finished.
BTW could you send that to me too? (black_hawk222@yahoo.com)

Thanks for emailing me it. Wow, ya put a lot of nice work into it.
BTW you could fix your DirectX problems sometimes by changing the color settings from 32-bit color to 16-bit color. It worked for my bro. [ 07-31-2002, 11:08 PM: Message edited by: DeathDragon ]
