Has anyone tried playing the old RPG called "Betrayal at Krondor"? You should try it, it is one of the best(In my opinion THE best) RPGs ever made, you can download it in at least 10 different places on the internet, so if you haven't tried it I recommend that you download it and try it(You may have to make a Dos-Bootdisk to get it to run), don't be alarmed by the graphics when you play it, they might not be very good but the music, story and gameplay more than make up for that.

Really? I saw it in the mall for about 2.99DM (kinda like $ 1.25), but I never had the balls to risk buying it.

I don't think I ever played Betrayal at Krondor, was it the very first one? I did though play Betrayal in Antara (think that is the correct name) and Return to Krondor. Both I enjoyed immensely! Antara was a bit lame on graphics, but the gameplay was great and I loved the music, and Return to Krondor was even better (loved the lockpicking/disarm traps)

So far I've found lots of places where it can be downloaded for free(Not as Warez.).

Betrayal In Antara is NOTHING compared to Betrayal at Krondor, in fact I think it is a bit boring, Return to Krondor is better however, it's a bit too easy and a bit too short however(And yes I have done ALL side quests and haven't played it on Easy difficulty.).

Neb!! You are the first person I've ever found who knows about this wonderful game!! It is the game that got me into computers and RPGs!! It changed my life .. ok, so that's a dramatic statement . But it really is great. I do recommend it if you are willing to play an old game with limited graphics. It was a good game for it's day.

Hmm, the game that changed my entire life was Baldur´s Gate 2. It was the first game that nailed me in front of my screen for a whole(!) day.

It was one of the games that got me hooked on RPGs as well Bilquis, I especially love the Puzzlechests:

Even better are the books by Raymond Feist, that the game is based on. Betrayal is one of my favorite games of all. Worth your time!
