Hello everyone just joined the forum. I wanted to ask a question if ebay was safe to buy a computer from??? There seems to be real nice deals on there. Any help would be appreciated thanks! Oh yeah great forum by the way!

its safe to buy a computer on ebay but always always always always remeber that if a deal looks too good to be true, its too good to be true.

Also, take the time to find out what it's going to cost you in shipping - a lot of the time you can get a seemingly good deal, but then get absolutely hammered on the shipping and insurance. Septfox got a laptop on eBay, and it's sweet for an older one. Like Arledrian, I'm eBay savvy---I help run a company which has quite an eBay presence as part of its operations. Feel free to PM with questions. But beware: *always* read the seller's feedback for potential problems with other transactions, read their terms carefully, and if it sounds too good to be true, guaranteed it is.
