I liked Seven Girlfriends, and Austin Powers 2 was pretty funny. I think the best would have to be LoTR though. I also likes that sorta old movie about how aliens attacked Earth, and they destroyed USA, and at the end the old ex fighter pilot crashed his plane into the mother ship to kill it, but I forget what the movie was called.

Has anyone else seen Traffic? Some people have said it was good, but I really didn't think so. Also, a lot of people like The Scary Movie. I thought that was just stupid.

What, no Star Wars? Lucas is robbed, robbed I say!

I wouldn't say Ep IV was my favourite movie, but it's definitely in the top 10. Come to think of it, I don't like rating movies as my "favourite". Out of the live-action films I've seen, Ronin rates up there with SW4:ANH and Aliens. Alien the original surely rates up there as well, though it's not as much fun as the sequel IMO.

If you include animation, Akira and Ghost in the Shell are masterpieces as well.

Well it all depends on what type of movie you're referring to.

For a good war movie:

Stalag 17
A Bridge Too Far
Bridge on the River Kwai

For a good sci-fi horror:

Aliens (probably the best sci-fi horror film to date)
Event Horizon
The Thing

Classic Movies:

Too many to name, heh.

Adventure:

Indiana Jones Saga

Fantasy:

Lord of the Rings
Dragonslayer
Excalibur

In my opinion there really is no one all time great movie, but there are some that are classics and withstand against all others.
