A while ago, I came to the decision that the happiest people are those who simply don't give a damn about what others think of them. I also realised that the most important part of thinking good things about yourself is to be able to look in the mirror and be proud of what you see. If you can do that (and I see no reason why you can't), then the opinions of every half-witted loud-mouthed fool in your school mean precisely nothing. The important thing in your life is how you feel about yourself

No, you've won the important fight - you've acted like a man. That's a reason to be proud, and a damn good one.

I'm shure almost all of us have been in a situation simular to yours so feel free to post about it or talk to anyone, i have found out in life just talking to someone who you trust about your problems can releave alot of the stress, anguish, and frustration.

SomeGuy, you are one of the nicest and most thoughtful people I've met online and if other people at school don't see it, then it's their loss. And I mean that MOST SINCERELY, dear penquin sig specialist!

I've grown to appreciate the difference between people who pay lipservice to the concepts of compassion and caring and those who genuinely ARE thoughtful and compassionate over the LONG years I've been around.. (hehe..this is where you make jokes about my advanced age... ) You really care and you are one of the people who makes this place fun. You always make me smile or want to hug away your pain... please don't let the bullies ever convince you that you're not worthy of respect. In my book , you're tops.

Once you get out of school, you'll be with many different kinds of people, SG. Some will be just like the bullies who don't understand what it means to be a decent person today and others will really appreciate the beauty of your personality. You'll see it's a lot different out here- away from school. I hope you plug through and don't despair!

Talk to a school counselor or someone at Church, sweetie! And if you want to talk to someone else, I'll happily sit in sometime... just tried to add you to my AIM, but the silly server said it's not working tonight (mines AmberCloudy).. figures... sometimes I think software is planning the overthrow of civilization....well, maybe your Penguins are helping... but software is moving in fast on the total domination of the world!

Andrew, from what I know of you, you are a sweet, funny, great, intelligent young man, and I can't see why anyone wouldn't like you(well I don't see why sopme people don't like me, but I dont worry about it ). Things should change when you get to high school;they say those are usually the best four years of your life, and i'm obliged to believe them(whoever they are ). You'll get over it, and in time, ignore those stupid people, I know you will
You got my AIM name, you can talk to me anytime

I'm gonna take everyone's advice and not listen to those idiots and morons at school and if they have a problem with me then then they will learn to shutup once I teach 'em a lesson or two. Well you could always ask your parents to take you out of public school. I doubt private schools are any better as far as this era of it goes. Or you coudl asked to be hometaught. Well, hope things get better for you soon. I also feel like I am misunderstood, but hey, what can you do about. Bitching and moaning about it doesnt do much. I am hoping someone will turn up sooner or later that does. So I will just have to wait I guess.

Er, damn I didnt mean to turn this into a post about me.

Anyway, hope things turn around for ya.

You may stand corrected Iron, that is where the majority of my friends are and they're still the coolest peeps around

Hey SomeGuy, thatīs quite brave of you to open up your heart like that. I donīt know if I would have guts enough to do it myself.

Iīm quite new here at IW so I donīt think that I have had any chance to actually help anyone yet so I canīt take any credit for assisting you.
Anyway I here should you ever need my words of wisdom.
