After the first elevator you take each direction will be after you have taken the following single elevator back to where you have a choice of elevators. So here we go.
North for the first elevator...then East, and East again. Push the lever on the south of the room. Leave on the elevator you came up on. Then go....North...and North again. Fight the enemies and continue to the unexplored area. Go down a slide to the right of a barrel. You will meet the serpent master. Talk to him. He will say...Have you seen the Mother Xydusa...Yes...How may times have you tasted her sweet nectar?...None...And he will give you a key. Either kill him or not, makes no difference. Trip the elevator switch near him by hand and go up the right one. You are back at the start of the maze. Go to the locked door in the outer maze and with this key unlock it and get the treasure. Go back to the elevator puzzle room and once again go North..East...East and use the same key on the west wall to open the door that leads to Elyssa. This is in answer to an E-mail I got this evening. My wife deleted it by mistake before I could answer. Sorry. Hope you stumble on this. Forget your name and cannot locate you throughout the past days....winton@ccountry.net

One more tip. If you have long range magic kill Elyssa from a distance, run up and pick up all her valuable stuff and exit to the left of her as fast as you can, then take on the rest of her bad guys one at a time in the narrow corridors. If you kill her and fight them chances are when you go to where she was most of her valuables will have vanished. Great game. I am really enjoying it... Winton... Do you know there is a way to get $500,000 very fast. It is a cheat I found and I am sure many others have also, and $500,000 can be spent very quickly in this game.

For me, some of the lifts would not go up. I think this was part of the puzzle? Anyway, I carried some boxes from downstairs up to the lifts and used the boxes to climb up to the next floor.

Here's how to get $500,000 quickly, or what the heck a million if you really need it!
Go to one of the towns. Pool all your gold on the top character. But you should have $50,000 or less. I am not sure but I think more than that will not work. Go to the Town Inn. Left click on the person just below the top character. Left click on REMOVE CHARACTER. Do this with all you characters EXCEPT THE TOP ONE. Left click on each of your removed charactgers, putting tyhem back on the team. Left click on POOL GOLD, then move the mouse marker to the right and your pooled gold will now have added $50,000 if you started with that amount. You now have $100,000. Once again take all your characters off but the top one and do the same things. You will have $150,000. Do this as many times as you want, gaining $50,000 each time. If you leave the Inn and come back right away it will not work anymore for a while. I am not sure how long you have to wait or what you need to do before you can do it again, but later in the game I have been able to raise money that way again. If you do not have much money to start with sell as much as you can to raise the amount near $50,000 and you can get more money quicker of course. Then just go and buy back the stuff you sold. Be careful while doing this and not click on other things or you can loose all your money. Let me know if this does not work...as there is one other factor involved that may be allowing me to do this.

Thought I would push this thread back up to the front page in case any new players are in need of this info!

In Dragonspire Dungeon now. Returned to town and later in the game it appears there is no limit to doubling your money in the inn. Tried a million dollars and zip, there was two million. Of course if you enjoy the money challenge in the game, which I don't, then don't even think of making the doubling move.

I tried it myself and pushed it up past 50 million. The ideal method is:

1) Pool to char 6 - see step 4
2) Go to Inn
3) Pool to char 1 - no preference who you choose here
4) Remove char 6 - it's easier to remove/add the last char in line...doesn't screw up your party order
5) Add char 6
6) Leave Inn
7) Pool to char 6
Enter another building - this seems to make the amount pooled stick on that char.
9) Leave that building and repeat process from Step 2

This will double your money for every time you try it, not just add amount X (so you go 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x instead of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x). I'm sure I'll get blamed/flamed for this, but I can't help researching the odd bug when I hear of one (yes, I did the Golden Lamp thing, too...it's how I learned the limit on stats).

In related news, the bank will only hold up to 10 million per bag...you can deposit multiple bags though.
