I installed it several months ago, and have not had any problems with it, except from the fact that now the audio control buttons on the front of the laptop don't work. Not that I used them that much anyway.

I've installed it; no problems. Despite the layout change, there is very little difference from Media Player 9. Though, due to the navigation change, I found it a little difficult, at first, to find my way around as quickly and effectively.

Works for me, but I only use it for stand-alone vids anyway. I use WinAmp for the Playlist managing and stuff. But it looks nice 'n' shiny.

I was also a little confused with the menu layout change, but I'll get used to it.

I get frustrated sometimes, not with those programs, but because it seems so often that when you want to view something you need to install a different type of viewer everytime. Anybody else notice this?

Yeah, that is pretty much the story of my life, Variol. "What, you want to watch 'The Matrix: Revolutions?' You need a new media player! Oh, and you need a new one for that Metallica Concert too! Oh, and that other movie you want to watch? You have to install codecs for it!"

Cheeses me off pretty thoroughly!

As far as music goes, I must be insane...I use Real Player, because it is simple, relatively convenient, has a small version that doesn't STILL take up 3/4 of my screen, and uses the media-labeling system that I like, rather than the one that WMPlayer uses (which I detest!).

Yeah, I prefer the Real Player too. I use it when I can. 'course I don't listen on the PC too much, my stereo system is pretty good.
