I choose PS2. PS2 gots lots of good games. very very good games if you know what I mean. hehehe...

xbox got only one good game. and to spend $1500 on xbox just to play that one game is kinda a waste. * sigh *

Memnoch ... I suggest getting the games that you want to play then consider the console(s). That to me would more important to help decide which system to get. Or if you afford, then hell mate, buy both or also the GC. However, theat is way too many systems for me to handle. One's enough (Xbox) and a PC is all I want.

I bought the X-box, and have not been disappointed. There are plenty of titles to play. Since I bought it 7 or 8 mos. ago, I've purchased upwards of 17-18 games, and I still don't have all the ones I'd like to get. The size of the games library does not matter when both are too big for the average consumer to own all the games.

Even the PS2 owners admit the graphics are better on Xbox. Add to this the fact that the PS machine has always had that CRAPPY CRAP controller and the choice is simple.

There are only three companies in existance that I hold favor over, and those are BIS, Bungie, and Crystal Dynamics.

Bungie for Halo and Myth, CD for the Legacy of Kain series (we all know BIS for BG and Fallout, they made PS:T too, right?)

I hold no standing with Microsoft. They make the console, yes, but most of the games I buy for it are designed by other companies. Sony's not that bad of a company, especially since they've made reverse compatibility when Nintendo hasn't.

PS2 has sooooo many more games (and better games) than X Box and Gamecube combined. I don't think Gamecube ever made it's big 'explosion,' so XBox and PS2 are competing a lot now. They're both about the same price though.
