Early morning all...my first venture into Cloudy's cafe! Have a big essay to write for tomorrow, haven't started writing yet, so thought I'd be productive and post in here

Hello hello everyone. How are you all? I'm fine myself, a bit tired though, and kind of angry at myself. I had homework in Pre-Algebra and I forgot to take it home, and I have like, one period I can do it in, maybe two if my Ag teacher doesn't give us any big assignment. Other then that, I'm probably screwed.

How can you study Pre-Algebra? Surely it's either algebra or it isn't... Do please enlighten me, I never understand the American school system

Pre-algebra is a class you get recomended for in middle school. You skip 8th grade math. It's just a class to get you prepared from algebra in highschool really.

The realization that you are significantly older than most of us coupled with your use of the word "n00b" is kind of funny, Attalus...though I don't mean to offend...

I think, though, that if my father said "n00b" out loud (and I'm pretty sure he's older than you, so please don't think I'm calling you old) I would snort whatever I was drinking...

Anyway, so I can't figure out the integral of x sin^2 (x) dx... ...I've spent two hours thinking about it, and I'm no closer, as integration by substitution seems to get me nowhere, and I'm under the impression that I'm NOT supposed to just look up the integral of sin^2 (x)...especially when I don't know how to arrive at that conclusion...

Pre-algrebra is mostly filled with learning how to manipulate very simple functions, and doing LOTS of arithmatic...

Well, in the spirit of all things NON mathematical, I went to black eyed peas last night

They were really good.... there was no moshing occurring (g-dammit) and I didn't know a lot of their songs, and they played with faaar too many of the songs that I DID know, and did boring band bits, but.... having said that, they still shat ALL over Justin Timberlake's concert. And they cost $50 less than him.

All in all, a good show.

A bad rappish hip hop group. How they can even be compared to Justin Timberlake is beyond me, totally different styles of music, and both of the bad imo

And Bill is old. Very old. Old fart he is
