Strange Elf slays me!?
On the undersark exit, outside, there is a battle between elves and drow. If any of the elves get hurt by you an elf will dimension door next toyou and kill you! |

Then be careful!!
Elves are funny like that. (by the way, I never even entered the battle...I just let them do all the killing. It might pay to not enter the melee so easily.) ------------------ Larry, a Loyal Guardian of the OHF [This message has been edited by Larry_OHF (edited 05-17-2001).] |

It means that they don't want you to kill them. So don't. And what good does it give you for doing that.

Bollocks. If the player wants to kill the elves, let him. It won't do any good. Same goes for Mae'Var's thieves. Jumping a super-human killing machine is a shit way to deal with it and totally unfeasible. If they have an elf like that, why was Irenicus any trouble at all? If Mae'Var had a thief like that, why was he struggling carefully with the other guild houses?

If you leave the underdark, be sure to have to the drow kill as many elves as possible and pick up their elven chains.

It's that Damn stupid A.I again, but then again i don't see what alternatives they have, if they don't want you killing May'var then i suppose they didn't have much of a choice. They could have given him an infinate amount of hit points, but that would be unrealistic as well.

Maybe they could have him behind a forcefield untill he trusts you enough to take it down....then you lay the smack down.
