Does any one here believe in the above??
I am a huge romantic (82) and I do. Many years ago I wouldn't off. Then I met this amazing girl back in 1996. We were at school together for 2 years and I never summed up the courage to tell her my feelings. She was the nicest person I ever met. She never said anything bad about other people even behind their backs (not many of us can do that). She never complained and always had this sweet smile. (A bit like Imoen and Aerie crossed). When she was about to leave school, she told me before hand on an art trip in Cambridge's Fitzwilliam Museum... I was so numb and didn't say much... We never spoke since.... It's been more than 3 years since I last saw her... but I think about her everyday. It's funny because I am at Fitzwilliam college in Cambridge and I cycle past he Museum twice everyday. Every time I go by I am close to tears.... Does anyone believe in fate and true love?? ------------------

yo, can you still meet her? if not, then let it go. just remember that: you can live on your own. you have to know that if you cannot let her go, you are not worth her love.
that said, the rest if all my sympathy: DUDE! I freaking totally uderstand your feelings!! Love hurts, buddy, as much as it brings joy. **pats Avatar on the back** and worse yet, when you regret something you never done, and it involves love, gee, just forget about how terrible one can feel. all I can say is, treat her as the most treasured part of your memory. put it on your shelf of memory, high and clear, where the sunlight can always shine on it, so that you can always enjoy and appreciate that past you both had. that is what you can do, remember: that past is both of yours. and that is not something you can force a title of 'true love' or 'fate' upon. about love, fate, destiny my opinion on this is: if you cannot be the right person to the other one, you will not find a destiny. the two that makes one are destined to be together, and nothing on the face of earth can seperate them, true love will find strength to go on and grow. have faith and be strong my friend, live a life to better YOURSELF so that you can be more lovable. my last wish for you: you will find your true love and the two of you will have a wonderful journey together! I don't know aboyt love, but I don't believe in fate. I don't want to think that everything you'll say or do is already recorded somewhere and there is nothing you can do about it. I want to be in control of my life and take decisions myself and not based on my karma and fate and the stars and all these stupidities.

I believe in Love, though not in Destiny or Fate, I believe that we shape our own lives, completely.
And Avatar, I hope that you meet that girl again some day and have a chance to tell her how you felt about her, but even if you never do, you will still have her in your heart, forever. |

At least you have someone to search for, that's better than stumbling about blindly, hoping to find the perfect one.
