The drows you see fighting on surface wear regulat elven chains.
And drow armor will only disappear if you are in the Underdark Exit map. ------------------ Long live H22A1!!!!! |

The drow armour doesn't actually disintegrate when you go to the surface, it only does that in the game. In actualy fact drow equipment slowly loses it's magic and eventualy fall to pieces, but all this happens over a period of time not imediatly. The drow do also have equipment which has speacial enchantments so it can withstand the degenerating effects of the sun.

sirs, here is how they do it
stealth out of underdark find somewhere safe, pause the game, "character artribution" "import" and get their plate back lol, nope, actually, they raid at night, they HAD NOT BEEN waging wars for almost two thousand years since the last outpost at Twisted Tower was cleared I believe they wear regular (the ones dont disintegrate) armors when they were on surface |

If you only went about at night and stayed in during the day the stuff wouldnt disintergrate but I dont think the game works like that. If it did it wold be a big pain in the arse to do things at night only. Does anyone know if you can do this ?

All my Drow gear disintergrated when I left the Underdark. The bit where you talk to the Elf bloke about the lantern. Incidentally I had a load of it in my Bag of Holding and it chucked good gear on the ground to make way for the Drow dust. I lost the Wave halberd blade through this...so be careful if you try to carry it out.
