Ok, it worked sans RFS-81! How weird? Oh well, he stayed right there anyway, so I just had to re-equip him!

Am I the only one who really hates this part of the game? Right along with the Crock thing. Just wish more of these optional.

Options for Crock:
1. Submit to the kidnapping, etc.
2. Kill Crock before touching the Idol.
3. Don't even bother with the Helm; Portal yourself from Mad Marten to Knowledge and Sane or Restore yourself once the DD is in place. (only good if you don't want 2 DE's)

Options for Al-S:
1. Talk to her in the El-D chapel and follow through the kinky bit
2. Kill her in the Al-D chapel first (lots easier) and do the kinky bit. You don't have to kill her again to avoid the Hex, but you can. (lots of XP)
3. Become Templar and then kill El-D and Al-S
4. Become Templar and Super yourself in combat to be normal once you leave the Rift.
5. Don't become Templar; a)and kill El-D and/or Al-S or b)not. In either case, you can get to AP through Bela's gate if you carry only one Final Item at a time.

RFS-81 took it personally and dragged my 2 Priests kicking and screaming to Al-Sedexus. He clobbered El-Diablo and dropped Al-Sedexus with an Inst-kill. I think he feels much better now, as does my priest!

Loved it!!!

This one really got me and my husband couldn't figure out what I was laughing so about.
Where were you when RFS-81 started on his rampage?

This is why we play RPG

no, you're not the only one. "must have sex with demon goddess to win game" ... not very heroic if you ask me.

but then I like going around killing everything every so often

Oh, I don't know, I think sacraficing oneself to an evil demon goddess in order to protect Dominus, nay the Universe, from the dread Dark Savant, is pretty heroic in my book. Of course if the Sacrafice enjoyed him/herself, well then that's just icing.

P.S. I love the male loner personality ("Whoopie for me") who says "Well at least my disease has cleared up." when Al-Sedexus kicks the bucket. Cracks me up everytime!

Just place a portal by the teleporter to Ascension Peak - you need not actualy be a templar - but you would have to trade those XP points for the ones you'll get fighting Rapax (and it helps to place another teleporter by Ferro, and be careful to avoid letting him die, until you get tired of trying to pickpocket the Armory key and let him do his worst about our "Grave Mistake" [and kill him]).
