In my class, many people smoke. all the experienced smokers here, what can you tell me about it? is it very enjoyable? Does it change physical appearance alot? Do you regret you started smoking?

Do NOT start smoking. Youre only 13. Your lungs havent even developed properly yet. If you start smoking now they NEVER will. Not only do you completely waste a perfectly good set of lungs youll blow a HUGE FRIKKING PILE OF CASH.

I smoked for about 22 years. To think about the money I WASTED on cigarettes gets me really depressed and pissed off at myself.
How much is a pack of smokes where you live? $3.50 oke $3.50 a day times 365 for one pack per day for a year. thats $1,277 dollars a year. times 20 years.

$25,550 in 20 years. You could buy 25 acres of land for that. OR a boat. Or a NICE car. Not a matchbox deathtrap.

That would have covered a college education.

Do I need to continue?? I havent even touched on the health issues.

Good for you that you haven't smoked before, and if I were you, I'd keep that up.
Once you start, it's hard to quit, but if you resolve not to touch the stuff, it's easy to keep it up.
Personally I think it's a filthy habit - I don't mind if other people smoke, as long as they keep their smoke out of my face - I'm allergic to it. My father's a very heavy smoker and inconsiderate of non-smokers to boot. Instead of realising his habit is very annoying for others, he will actually be half-insulted if you ask him to try not to blow smoke in your face.
My sister and I frequently had to endure sitting in a closed car with him while he smoked heavy tobacco. Both of us sing in a choir as well, so it was doubly bad. Since then, I know I've got a bit of a radical attitude against smoking.
Still, I have a few friends who smoke, and I don't mind at all...
I just don't see why anyone would *start* smoking in the first place. I can completely understand why they'd continue - nicotine is extremely addictive. But why start? Smoking can cause all kinds of cancer, impotence, it can harm unborn children, it's been proven that passive smoking can harm people, it makes you smell bad and your teeth and nails yellow... LOL, not trying to offend any smokers here, it's just hard to understand why anyone, in this day and age, would want to start smoking

Edit: oh and like Earthdog mentioned, there's the cost to consider as well... you could buy tons of nice stuff with the money you save from not smoking

Yuck! Smoking is off! It ain't cool to have smoke pouring out of your nostrils, and smelling like ash. It's rotten, and it'll kill you. Avoid like plague!

I smoked cigarettes for about 3 weeks when I was 10. I didnt get any effect from it and once I got over the novelty of blowing smoke out of my mouth and doing something I wasnt supposed to I quit.

If your gonna ruin your lungs at least smoke something a little more potent
