Another comment about Carter and no scandals....If you don't DO anything, you can't have any scandals. And less got done during his administration than in any other administration in the last half of the century. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Are you sure about that? Gerald Ford didn't do a whole heck of a lot, either, as I recall.
Then again, I could be wrong. Jimmy Carter used the presidency to springboard what he really is good at - diplomacy. Very seldom do you hear about a president once he has left office - especially if he has gone beyond that office in his career.
