Welcome to Ironworks, Mahlennacht !

And there is no reason whatsoever for stagefright: once you have overcome the aftereffects of your first encounter with me you can relax as you wil have already seen the worst there is here.

May I ask what your username is supposed to mean ?

Happy gaming and posting to you !

TO -- CLOUDBRINGER:

Hello - nice to be here - - Wot? Ch. 2 since January?! Omigoddess - yeh I've been playing BG2 since Mar. - 170 days game-time, now in Ch. 5. [I think I rest too much - don't know how often PnP players are allowed to rest.]

TO -- RAMON DE RAMON Y RAMON:
Hello - yes, about the username - has a little story behind it:

I began the computer-gaming spiral (won't say whether downward or upward) with FPS's - Doom, then Doom 2, then got turned on to Blood - if you remember that one? Creepy... Anyway in that game there are these hooded Cultists, and as soon as they see you they start screaming various evil-sounding epithets in their "Cultist Language" whilst perforating the player character with machine-gun fire... supposedly the Cultist language is some mix of Sanskrit and Latin.
At any rate one of the most evil-sounding screams that stuck in my mind was "MARANAX INFIRMUX!!!" - IIRC it meant something like "DEATH TO THE HERETIC" or something to that effect.
At the time I had no knowledge of how those words were spelled - I bastardized "Maranax" into "Mahlennacht" - THEN I look in a German dictionary and find Mahlen = "grind" (?) Nacht = night of course. Grind/night? I thought it was interesting and it stuck. So, quite accidental in origin.
But now, Ramon, I see you are in Germany - does that name make any sorta sense to you?... Sometimes I wish I had learnt German when I was in school. [Would love to roll r's like Till of Rammstein. ]

First of all, welcome to Mahlennacht and all new members.

Mahlennacht: I´m not R3(Ramon), but your name doesn´t make too much sense. But no need to worry, there are far worse names(debiler for example)

hello all you new people! please, to get settled in this forum stop by Cloudy's Cafe any time you wish... and for a tight group of friends, stop by the HADB recruiting office, i think thats on page 2 by now... anyways, all you newbies, make sure to use the forum to its fullest! but try to stay within the guidelines, kay? the mods already have enough to deal with...

------------------
It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul.

Thanks, Mahlennacht for the extensive explanation - almost "Germanly thorough" I'd say !

I am afraid that as a German word your username doesn't make do much sense, but so what: it sounds and looks nice and I'll second the incomparable archbabe Melusine and say that the story behind it is interesting.
