Question about paypal--how much does it cost to 'open' the limit of the $100? Does it cost me anything or what? Just wondering.. I did open an account--MAN, what a pain in the butt! heavy security, but that is GOOD.. just took some time..

Thanks!!

Dreamer - About depositing directly to an American bank account: it will cost you almost more than the donation itself
I've informed after it once because I wanted to donate as well, but it was so dreadfully expensive!
You know, when we did a little something for Dan's wedding day, I just took the risk and sent cash to America (which, with exchange rate is expensive too, but less so than depositing) which arrived safely. Just make sure you don't include any coins and put the banknotes between bits of cardboard.

Ziroc, I emailed you before to ask about this sort of thing but you never replied. I am happy to see that you do have a Paypal account now, but could someone enlighten me as to how exactly I would go about donating that way? Is there a minimum amount? I have no real income due to illness and have to live on about $300 a month. Still, I figure that even the little bits help so if it's possible to donate say $20 through Paypal, I'd gladly do so...

It looks like you might have a personal account instead of a premier account (the former is much more restrictive, and can't receive credit card payments, but no fees on getting cash, but I believe its only 2% or something anyway). There is supposed to be a hot-line number for premier members, so if you are a premier member, maybe give them a ring. I've contributed to some other sites in the past via paypal, and its very convenient for oversees donors. Please keep us posted so we can come up with something else if Paypal isn't going to work.

I wouldn't mind, anything to keep Ironworks up. Would anyone object to that?

I second this, for sure. It's a great Idea, and I think that none of the posters would mind.

All In Favor??

Well I don't get any sort of allowance, so I don't havee any money to send you. Sorry. I'll be more than happy to click on your ads a hundred times or so. Will that help?
