Forgot to mention.

Stone of recall got nerfed, bad.

It now takes charges (some kind of focus crystal). You only get a couple and have to make more.

And, of course, they don't work in combat. Something you don't want to find out the way I did. (Down to my last few hp, out of spells, henchman dead, 3 kobolds still chasing me , one's an archer with obscenely good luck with his bow...)

SoU.........its everything the NWN OC should have been.

Truly awesome. Far more reminiscent of the greatness that was Baldurs II (in terms of storyline depth, NPC involvement, dialogue options)

They've done a great job utilizing the scripting to a whole new level. It's just...great. Ah, now if I could just finish w/ work for the day and keep on playing my Rogue/Shadowdancer through the game!.......

It's great.

It's a little hard for beginner levels, but.. well, taking out 10+ kobolds with a level 2 druid is not all fun and sticks. I eventually got fed up and imported my level 18 drow cleric/mage..

Yup. Why, what kinda system do you have? I ask because I'm almost a pro at tweaking NWN's to work since I started off with my older pentium 2 before upgrading to 4.

I have to say I was more or less disappointed with SOU.

I really enjoyed the storyline in the main campaign a lot more, and there was just so much more.

I also don't like the idea of starting from scratch like the original campaign didn't take place.
