I have a solution to the Taliban/Al-Quida problem. I believe that the US should purchase the Falkland Islands from the British Government and move all the civilians off. Then, as these vermin are captured, they should be relocated there. No guards would be needed. A couple of submarines could be placed on permenent patrol and all shipping and flights could be suspended for a two hundred mile zone. Any ship or flight found in the area could be warned a couple of times and then shot down or sunk. The vermin could be left to live life as they want it.

Why don't you guys just ask the Canadian Government if you can use a little area of Baffin Island. It's very cold up there this time of year. All you need to do is to parachute them giving them a little tent, a parka and a knife... let's see how far they go! If hyporthermia, dehydratation and lack of food don't finish them, the polar bears will during the summer!

I don't understand why you would want to waste the time, manpower and money for such an elaborate way for them to die. Why not just tell them to kneel and then plant a bullet into the back of their skulls? It's cheaper. Even better, they could each be guests on these new torture/cheap thrills game shows on ABC or CBS. Cept of course they die.

Jeesh, I'll say it again ,

"Heh, who cares who started the war?

I mean really, they destoyed two monuments representing not only USA, not only freedom, but the World. Did you know that the space of occupation on WTC is like an averege American town in NJ, TX, NC, SC etc? How would you feel if your town got destroyed???

I live in NY and quite frankly I dont care who started the war, if they destroyed WTC as a defence action then I dont care either, they still are to be hunted down and killed and torturned, for they are nothing but terrorists..."

What about the Falkland islanders do they get a say in this? Britian is still a democracy as far as I know so you can't really move the whole poulation of the Falkland Islands because the US wants to buy it as a prison can you?, whats wrong with Hawaii? Also can anyone tell me why the American Taliban guy was sent to the US while the British ones were sent to cuba?

The status of the others hasn't been established, but the American's status is simple: he was guilty of breaking a variety of US laws as a citizen. He fits into a separate category.

I rather suspect the US government also wants to get his case up front to send a signal to foreign nations that American terrorists will be treated with no leniency. Perhaps they wish to convince US sympathizers of Al-Qua'da of this, too. It's not an argument that's likely to hit its target.

LOL seriously, I'm not sure what to make of those torture/game shows yet. Maybe if they added hmmm a GUN pointed straight at their head. One wrong question answered and BANG! They could call it "You bet your life".

well if walked up skyline drive to the gazeebo on the hill i would be able too see camp x-ray and so could redblueflare (he has a shorter walk than me), and so does blind-prophet. but anyways its not that great of a site anyways... lets see theres a square fenceline inside and around many marines, small cages and some lights. hey the news showed several photographs of the place so it doesnt matter now (i never decided to take photographs). anyways they are trying to keep anyone from going up there now... so i don't feel like having marines on me by the minute. i think im afraid more of the marines than the taliban prisoners. well it was when i was riding my bike around about a day after the prisoners came in i went right up skyline. its about a quarter mile away from me and right now im the closest connection you can have on IW whose pretty close to camp x-ray.
