EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
Just incase you want to change your NWN desktop Icon to EFU! I use it, and for EFU Forum bookmarks too!

Re: EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
Ok, the link says .ico - when I go to save, it reads as .htm and won't open at all.

Re: EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
I get the same problem (although that's probably my fault for doing it on a mac). But, if I right-click and save on my work laptop it saves fine and can be used as an icon file (that'll confuse anyone who tries to use my machine - I just changed half the icons to EFU).

Re: EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
No matter what I do, it saves as a fubar .htm. Right click, left click, no click, clickity-click-click.
Tried to open it with IE (cursed be its name) and received a "decode error".

Re: EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
Hmm, when saving, change the html file choice to 'all files' and then save. Let me know if that works.
If not, simply save it, and then rename it to 'efufav.ico' and it'll still work. Let me know if this fixes it. Hmm.. odd. I'll look into the forum settings and see whats up.

Re: EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
Ok, if I go through the procedure of right click, save linked content as, change it to .ico and such, then I finally get a tiny little icon.

Re: EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
Cool.. yeah, its actually 2 icons I think--one for tiny, and on the desktop, a large one.
I just replaced the NWN Game Icon on the desktop with mine.

Re: EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
Okie doke, I guess this is my Computer Lesson for August: how to link (or change) an icon to an .exe and have it actually work.

Re: EFU Desktop Icon -- New!
I know - I was waaaay over-thinking. Must be too much pickling and canning this summer shorting out what little brain I have left (after children ).
Already have it switched.
