I like the fighter stronghold. Your own fully functional castle, complete with attendant staff. And Nalia's aunt, but nothings perfect. The old bat stays away from me anyway.

The mage stronghold has its charms, some nice items, but not exactly the nicest place to live.

The ranger stronghld - its a hut. nuff said.

Cleric stronghold, I dont know about.

Theif stronghold - an actual, profit making, theives guild. Any way you look at it, thats cool.

Bard stronghold. A theatre. Sounds dull, but I haven't played a bard yet. Might be entertaining.

The Bard stronghold is the BEST stronghold available, but out of the choices above, I prefer the Fighter Stronghold, for reasons already illustrated by andrewas.

Fighter's Keep : Basic
Ranger's Cabin : Nice quests
Thieves Guild: Profitable and some nice quests but high maintenance
Mage's Sphere: VERY rewarding
Paladin's Order: Nice quests but I dislike the fact that I don't have the Stronghold for me alone but rather am a member of the Order.
Cleric's Temple: Not so great and same critic as for the Paladin

Mage's stronghold: it's simply the funniest, more funny than the bard's stronghold..

I should note that NOBODY will disagree with the opinion that the Druid Stronghold is the absolute worst.

Maybe because the Druid is the less played class there is, BIS knew that and so they've put little effort into making it's stronghold grand ...

Dundee's impression of the Druid Stronghold went thusly:
Quote:
Oh, man, I actually forgot how bad that was. Every time I got summoned back there, my party was like, "You want us to navigate the Druid Grove again?? Here, interpret the finger."

[/QUOTE]Heh, and there's not a damn thing that spirit of the grove thingy can do about it. Buncha wankers ...

And furthermore: the druid stronghold is the only stronghold that requires your PC to be at maximum level (SoA Cap) !! Woohoo !! And the rewards are overwhelming ladies & germs !!
