Well, last interview was blocked by the bank's managers.
. However, my current place are transferring 15 people (including myself) to software house. I've checked locations and TUPE and so forth. Looks like I'll get more money out of it. . Has anyone out there been transferred (using TUPE and keeping the length of service). If so, what problems arose for you? (I know the regulations but not everything seems to be covered, e.g., pensions and location) ------------------ In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is pimp. http://lordraptor0.tripod.com/index.html |

I have been involved to small extent in TUPE matters, but not for the last 3 years approx. This is a very complex and continually evolving area of the law. My advice would be:-
1) If unionized - see your rep. 2) Try the Citizens Advice Bureau nearest to you. 3) Cultivate a tame lawyer who specialises in Employment Law (this is the cheapest option ) Best of luck - hope it works out OK! ------------------ Regards Mouse |
