Keep most of your party right at the left hand side. If you have the Cloak of Mirrors you can ignore the beholder.
.
Lord Raptor's fight there went all over the place. Viconia controlled the lick Shangalar. The beholder and fighter started attacking Shangalar. Lord Raptor hid in shadows and ran around backstabbing everybody. Viconia controlled the vampire. Remainder got shredded - this fight was so unplanned I laughed my nuts off

I'd suggest the following:

Send a sacrifical lamb (NPC) out into the main room to get things rolling. Make sure your lamb is hasted. Once the lich talks to him then haul ass back to the entrance (where you should have left the rest of your party waiting). If it works right, you should be able to draw the enemies to your party one by one and take care of them that way. My Inquisitor had the cloak of reflection and this actually caused the beholder's charm ray to charm himself and he took care of the two vampires for me. hee-hee .

Now where did I leave that doughnut?!
