Well if you put it that way, I can’t come up with any examples from the human world, since it takes millenniums for a new specie to occur.
So I guess that I will just have to believe what the archeologist and biologist claim is true.
And now for a little fact, that doesn’t prove anything but certainly is a good argument.
It has been proved that the DNA of a gorilla matches that of a human by 99%, and they are not even our closest relatives among the primates (according to the biologists anyway)

What if God created the first life form and we evolved from that?

I tend to believe in that.

IQ hasn't actually increased. People have just got better at doing IQ tests, and the tests themselves have changed such that comparison between different tests in different generations is difficult and inaccurate.

[/QUOTE]but we are being educated more throughly now than in the past, and more of it is accurate. Also things such as the intrenet and television have increased learning.

I believe in the theory of Evolution, but I don't rule out the possibility that a being, let's call him God, created life and/or are subtly controlling it's development.

One thing we have to remember about the Evolution theory is that it takes ages for one 'higher' lifeform to change into another. One individual of a species doesn't all of a sudden give birth to a completely different species, the changes are so slow that we never see it happen, or at least not in more advanced lifeforms.

If we all did evolve from a primitive species, or just that lovely little prokaryote, then where the hell did the first prokaryote come from? You can't make something out of nothing after all.

Something had to create the first "something" to get the next something; to me that's simple logic.

But if something was there to create the first something, how did the creating something get created?

We have trouble conceiving of infinity. Our minds are uncomfortable with anything that doesn't have a clear start and naturally or unaturally and end.
