Mine was one of the deleted posts, but I did say thanx for informing me, and I wasn't the one to slam the movie. All I said was that I called Arvon "Junk Trawler", which I have in many different threads, and it isn't a bad thing. He just seems to find alot of junk threads.
So thanx,

So thanx,

I wasn't offended by that. *smile*...I have over all my years been called much worse. But we all have to remember that Ziroc can run this community anyway he wishes, it IS HIS board. So I can go with it either way.

Great news to hear, Arvon!

Now, I need to decide if I wanna buy a DVD for my PC or for the TV...

decisions, decisions...

My advice would be to go for the TV DVD. We got ours just before Christmas. We bought a good quality middle of the range unit.

The improvement in picture quality ( even on our 15 YO TV ) between a DVD and the VHS tape version of the same movie, was far greater than we expected.

We haven't gone the whole kit with home theatre yet, but even patching the DVD audio output through our stereo system made a huge difference in sound realism as well.

Although some DVD's have PC DVD functions that I can't use at present,( PC only has CD-ROM ) the prime purpose of our DVD was to watch movies, not play with extras ...
