Do somebody know about any editor for W&W? But i'm not thinking about RosterEd....but monster and item editor. I finished the game several times with every possible combinations (i think) including one character naked and yet find the game to easy. I want edit some monster stats and so on.....to make the game more challenging. Is there any tool that can do this?

Thanx in advance.

Welcome to the board, Overfiend!!!

A while back we had some players that were discussing whether or not they might be able to put together their own editor. If you do a search on the keyword "mod" you should be able to find it. Nothing came of the project/idea. I haven't heard of any editor besides the one for characters.

Has anyone else?

Hi Overfiend!

I have hacked items within players gamexx.sav files - for when they've killed Scanthril before getting the assassin's dagger and things like that, but I haven't tried to hack any of the files that relate to monster stats.

dlimbaugh, who posts to the board here, has delved far deeper into the W&W files than I have - you might want to ask him.
