I am going to be happy when I leave high school, college has to be better than this madhouse. As much as I find what I'm about to say funny, it is really just sad in so many ways.

I go to a small high school, around four hundred students but it seems more and more everyday that because it is a small community school that the people running it are trying to push their powers more than what they should. My principal, not the brightest guy in the world, came on the intercom this morning to make an announcement.

He tells us this morning that there have been a lot of problems with people passing through the halls during class (apparently they have enough time to watch the cameras up in the office). Now, evidently the large group of people wandering around did it during lunch time which, you know, should be alright. So now, because of a one time thing, everyone is restricted to the classrooms at all times, can't get anything from the library for research and if the teachers do let one of us go, they run the risk of being fired. We can't even use the restroom even if it means pissing on ourselves.

Now, just staying in a classroom may not seem that bad, but here's where it gets a little crazy. These people are treating us like we're stupid pretty much, so now if there is a freehand working up at the main office, they have to be called to escort each individual student to his/her locker or to the bathroom and has to wait inside with them as they do their business to make sure they don't take a smoke break.

Six months left, seems like too long a wait

I can tell you that college was a blast, and I loathed and despised high school. Medical School, however... sheesh, I don't know if I would go through that again.

That sucks, I feel sorry for you.

If it makes you feel any better I'm in High School too (a seinor).

I will be happy to be out of school completely! Then I can get on with my life...

I had a great time in high school: huge parties, easy girls, and no inhibitions at all.

Good thing, I guess, since I picked a serious college to go to ... no more partying like a porn star for me.

Or, at least not every day like in high school.

Can't wait to go to uni either. We've just got an interim manager as head and he's just an idiot cause the new head got ill. We're waiting for a new head for 1 year already now.

But in the meantime we've now got a complete system to follow when you're late/ill/sent out of class/truancy completely with so-called 'exit forms'.

Missing one hour will get you 2 hours of staying. If miss a lesson because you missed a bus by a few seconds and the next one came half an hour later the hour you missed is called truancy.

The idiot is patrolling the halls to see if you shouldn't be in a class or if teachers have let you go before the bell rings.

We've now got radio-controlled clocks. :/ This guy must be kidding. And besides the bell is still a minute late...

Traditions have been killed. Debates for elections of our student's association got stopped when they were longer than the break is. (Never was a problem since only a few if at all run long). They just pulled the plug of the music and mic :/

Nobody likes the guy, teachers speak of 'Big Brother' and anybody can get trouble for every little thing :/

high school was a great place, I absolutely loved it, and I’ll miss it dearly.
Your high school however sounds like some kind of facist dictatorship
