The Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame inductees get inducted tomorrow night. They Include The Clash, The Police, Ac/Dc and some others that cant think of.

They usally preform right? I wonder who is going to fill in for Joe.

Hmm really? i didnt know that. will it be on ABC or something? NBC? VH1? probably not MTV, because MTV doesnt have any music programs anyway. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Tomorrow (Sunday) on VH1 at 7 PM CTS I think, maybe 8 not sure. Yeah I thinks it 8.

I'm assuming by Joe you mean Joe Strummer. The answer is noone because the Clash said they will not play because the performance is not open to the public. Their music being accessible by all is something Joe believed in. I only know all this because they had a report about the Clash on NPR last week. Who woulda thought I'd be listening to Train in Vain on NPR

Edit: Also, the induction and concert already took place, it's just that it's being shown on tv this (past) weekend by VH-1.

You think YOU feel old? I can remember when AC/DC was banned from radio completely!!! Then - last summer - thier trademark song Back in Black was being played on commercials for Disney's new movie - Lilo and Stitch [img]graemlins/wow.gif[/img]

So they've gone from being musical pariahs to promoting Disney movies. My, how times have changed! [img]graemlins/biglaugh.gif[/img]

Ya, really! I remember when MTV first started in like 83 or so. They we're very cool back then (not nescesarily the music).
