So I'm playing yesterday, and in moving from one map area to another, the game asked for CD 3. I put it in as requested, but the new area would simply not load.

I took out the CD and cleaned it thoroughly, then replaced it and tried again. No luck.

I then asked someone to send me the area file, thinking my own might be corrupt. It wasn't.

Finally I installed every patch and bugfix known to man, praying to whatever is above that one of them might solve my problem. No chance.

So I gaze at my computer tower, head in hands, wondering what the hell could be wrong. Suddenly, the CD-RW drive pops open and I notice CD 3 in there. Turns out I'd put it in there instead of the regular CD-ROM drive, causing me hours of grief and stubble-scratching perplexity... argh!

Now there's a moral here somewhere, but I'm too embarrassed to point it out. Sorry, folks.

Lord's right...Anyway...you have won the primary, Arledrian...keep up the good work, and don't try out for Jeopardy!

Oh, and :::whispers to Arledrian:::
did you know that you can get a super duper plus five sword by killing all the rodents on the sword coast and then talking to Elminster the first time you enter Baldur's Gate???
