A66, South Shields, that's all near me (I'm in Middlesbrough, an hour ish from Newcastle). It took next doors greenhouse! Nothing that big scale has happened around here I don't think.

I remember 4/5 years ago when we had winds that could blow the fences down, but they weren't as strong as this. My dad said he hasn't seen winds as strong as this in a long time. I hope these winds stop soon!

Well, I'm in the North-West.
Acording to the weather forecasting over the last couple of days the high winds struck the north of England and Scotland. Infact, a warning was put out telling people to avoid driving due to the danger of falling trees etc.

There was also a bad storm in Sweden today. Three people died (when trees fell over their cars) and 280 000 people are without electricity.

There wasn't much here where I live, but I heard it blow past... It was a really strong wind, and the entrance door to the building started banging. Which is weird because it's always closed (and it's heavy), so it must've blown open...

Five people have died from the storm this far in Sweden. It seems it hit most of Northern Europe.

I've checked around my house, but no damages as far as I can see.
