It will be an early night for me too. I’ve just been rung up from work and they want me to do 12 hours of overtime tomorrow. This last month or so has been all overtime. 3 months ago they *Qantas* were still making people redundant, now after paying millions in redundancy money they have suddenly worked out they need more people to maintain the aircraft. Are accountants / directors this dumb the world over?

Question Mark

Yes, they are. When your P&L shows your net income getting a little thin the last thing you wish to do, if you are an intelligent and far-sighted businessperson, is trim your employee roster, because this will significantly reduce your future production ability. I know many in business/accounting see things differently, but that is because they look only at next quarter's bottom line, not the bottom line 5 years from now.

*whew* Enough ranting about sloppy business practices....

Strange family news I have obtained over the last couple of days:
My older brother is getting married...which would be a good thing if he weren't such an arrogant, self-centered CENSORED who already has a history of being unfaithful.
My younger brother and his wife are expecting a child...which would be a good thing if they weren't such irresponsible, self-centered people. On the other hand, I already have 2 neices-in-law, 2 former neices-in-law, 1 former nephew-in-law, and 1 step-neice-in-law (I think I made that one up ) so what is one more?
On the other hand, I have no communication with either of them because I choose not to associate with them (which drives my mother up the wall) but I will politely listen while my mother tells me. Oh, well...she means well.

*ack* Enough ranting about useless siblings.....

Heh, hardly. You need to put your chin on the cue and then look up to the object ball and down to the cue ball until you feel yourin position. But yeah, the table is large and the balls are small and the cues are also longer and thinner and the cue-tip is smaller. But it really isn't all that hard, at least, if you're not comparing yourself to what those guys in the top 50 can do.....

Today is day 1 of my study-on-your-own-week. I got lots and lots of books to learn abd understand. But it's no big deal, as long as you spread out the work and not wait till the last day. So. If I now go and study, things will be fine! Just go... Go I tell you!!!
