people tell me that I sound like that guy who talks in the previews for all those horror flicks and is featured as the "score keeper" in Myth II, and has his voice appear in several titles, though i forgot the guys name I would have to agree that I do tlak somewhat similarly to him...

My nominee for the WORST British (Cockney) accent: whoever did the Gaelan Bayle voice in BGII-SoA. I'm not British, but I cringe whenever we do that part, especially when he says "Coo!."
BEST British (Scots) accent: Sheena Easton doing Annah's voice in PS: T. ""D'ye like me wee tail? I'll wag it at ye." Gotta love it!

Attalus, you are spot on about Gaelan Bayle - OMG what a hash-up *that* was! I was going to quote that in my post above, but it's been a while since I played BGII and couldn't remember his flippin' name. It is truly awful, yes, it makes me cringe.

Erm... I hate to break it to you, but the reason Sheena Easton can do a good Scottish accent is because.... SHE'S SCOTTISH!!!! ROFLMAO! [img]graemlins/biglaugh.gif[/img]

I know, Epona. But I said "Best," not "Best British accent imitated by an American or whoever." God, that is the best part of that game, hearing her and Fall-from-Grace talk. BTW, Fall-from-Grace speaks in a veddy, veddy proper Oxbridge accent - because of her being so severely repressed, I suppose.

Aha, I see what you mean. All native Scottish accents are great though IMO
