Type {img}LOCATION{/img}, where LOCATION refers to the site you have stored it and replace {} with []. Right click on my image and select properties for an example of a location. If you have one you like, I will host it for you if you are unable to do it yourself.

I wonder, are these images reloaded dynamically everytime someone pulls up your old post, or are they actually stored in the post? One could really create havoc by swapping their .gif file with something else (obscene material, virus loaded .gif, etc) if the former is true. However, it would take quite a lot of storage space if the latter were true.

P.S. I'm *NOT* suggesting someone do this!

Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast. And then I went and made at least three of them come true before lunch.

Images cannot contain virii. Only files like EXE, COM, SCR, VBS etc..
I have all the images (the smileys and stuff) in a dir, and the tags 'call' the image to be displayed. SO many smileys too!
