Ok, I've completed the Serpent Temple, The Shurugeon Castle, and the Stout Mines today. What can I say, I've been busy... Anyways, after all this, I got two questions: I got the quest from the preist guild to find out what happened to this guy in the dungeon of the castle. I didn't find a thing. Did it get messed up because I did the dungeon BEFORE i got the quest?

ALso, Moral question. I had just saved, going up to get the stuff made from the Stout king. Spiders were spawned where I was at, and I did the CLASSIC over kill of a Firestorm and a Meteor Storm together. One of the stupid stouts got in the way. So I went back, everyone went ape$*/~ on me, and I had to kill 'em too. SO I went ahead and took care of kill the rest of 'em.

Then I went back and did it the 'correct' way, saving in a different spot.

Now I'm thinking about the story, and mr stout king wasn't the nicest of guys, and he might almost be a BAD Guy. Here is the dilemma. Which game do i play?

difference in the two is about 27000 gold, (which with the fletcher trait and Dragon arrows is no big deal) Armor is for the total party 7.05 higher, and the experience bonus for euthenisizing the Stouts for the mines? 100,447 points.

Looking for answers on the above and thoughts on the below. Thanks

BK

Guild Quest: I believe it's the same like "Ring of Saints" from Valeia. If you enter the Crypt without getting the quest you've visit the dungeon again.

Saving-Tip: I prefer slot 3,4,5 for my adventures, specialy for dungeon visits.
Shake the slots everytime for saving and your moral is everytime up to date

You will need to complete that temple quest with your Paladin if you want to get the crusade trait. It's been a while, but I believe that is the scroll of galian, and it is not deep in the dungeon. It is :

Go left from the pool through to what looks like a kitchen. Don't go down the elevator, go further left to a small area with a few skeletons and a couple of chests - from memory the scroll is in there.

BK - you can raid the king's treasury without killing anyone - just pickpocket the key from the King. The guards, oddly enough, ignore you completely. So up to you which way you want to play. Won't affect the game adversely whichever path you choose.

My paladin thinks it is not the nicest, but the ranger convinced him that the King was evil and the Paladin had to defend the party. Paladin is the one getting the Mavin, so it all works out roleplaying wise. Nothing like a little self-justification ....

hehehe

There are always some interesting rationalizations - perhaps I should collect them all into one thread so players can read the best!

Oh, I've got a great imagination. I can make almost any situation work. I've got a Monk Dueled to a Cleric. I was told it didn't work, then I explained here:

I was thinking, after I made the suggestion of compiling a list, of how difficult it would be to search through the posts to find all the creative explanations we've read! Maybe it should just be a new thread
