Synopsis
This strategy guide features a complete walkthrough of the game. It provides strategy on how to best use strength, intelligence, and skills. It covers sub-plots and mini-quests and shows how to uncover the hidden secrets of the game.

... and shows how to uncover the hidden secrets of the game *wow*

What about a thread: "the hidden secrets"?

Ah the Tome of MISINFORMATION!

Having my own copy, I can personally say that it is often wrong. There have been moments when it has proved useful, but on the whole it really isn't that good.

Fallagar -

You're far from the only one who has bought the strategy guide and there IS some very useful information. If you keep your copy make a point of writing down a note in the margins whenever you find that it is mistaken. (Wish I had done that from the start) - it isn't a total loss.

Hope we didn't make you feel badly by our follow-up posts!!

(Or is it possible that they produced a NEW version of the Strategy Guide? - Activision? - naw)

The guide is rather useful at times, although there are times where it doesn't supply enough info *cough* Mantraps *cough* but on the whole it is rather good. My biggest gripe about it is it doesn't tell you where to find all of the tomes of creation. The other is that it doesn't tell you which artifact spell will give which effect. It only tells the name of the blessing/enchantment and what it does, not the spell. Oh well!
