Nice thread... okay, here's my addition.

Two weeks ago, I came down with a nasty cold that turned into strep throat. Was basically sick as a dog for three days until I got smart enough to go to the doctor and get diagnosed.

Why is this a positive, happy thing? Because in those three days, I dropped ten pounds of excess baggage (something I've needed to do for a while. And I decided that was such a good start, I've been working at keeping it off, and I haven't gained any of it back yet. And that includes today's birthday brunch for my beloved [img]smile.gif[/img] .

Sappy, perhaps. But I'm excited about it, and continue to smile. Ya gotta start somewhere, and I got a head-start.

I recently found alot of joy at Disney world with my two nephews ages 4 and 18 months. A great vacation that put me in weather 50 degrees warmer than Boston, not to mention the Incredible Hulk coaster at Universal which I rode 12 times in one day! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Lessee, when we got out of my son's piano recital yesterday (he did very well, thank you very much), and the formerly cloudy day had broken into glorious sunshine. I felt like a weight that I had not known existed was lifted from my heart. And, today has been so beautiful, and I feel so well, that I thought I would recontribute to this thread.
