Timber, I have no idea if that method is widely used or not, but I know that bleeding to death is a painless death ... the victim merely passes out. That was why Romans used it as a method of suicide, like Petronius Arbiter, who sat and joked with his friends as his life bled away. *Shrugs* Any road, I am not a vegetarian nor an animal-rights activist, so I am indifferent as to how animals are slaughtered. And, Grojlach, do you not find it strange that this issue would be raised over an essentially industrial issue?
