I'm sure this would have it's benefits, but it's an insane thought all the same.

I think it is up to the parents. Some will want to be able to locate their kids at all times and protect them from predators.Others wont want to intrudeon their children. As long as it doesnt become a mandatory thing there shouldnt be any problems with it.

"One family, the Duvals, has offered up their 11-year-old daughter Danielle as the first guinea pig to test the electronic tag, which Warwick said he hopes to perfect sometime before Christmas."
Awww, how sweet, the parents volunteered their darling daughter... I don't see anything about her volunteering. Dude, that's insane! You can't go around tracking everyone, I hate freakin systems like this...

BAD
Oh, hang on I should go read it... . . . Yes. Bad. The application suggested comes from good sentiment, but they 'Forces That Be' must be rubbing their hands with glee if the public self instates human tracking devices. Sinister potential...

Hm.... not a bad idea. But it would make the children feel like thay have no privacy if their parents could find out where they are at all times.
