I have both and I just can't seem to get addicted to 4 as I did with 3 or 1 & 2 for that matter.

Of course Morrowind took my time away from M&M 4 soon after I bought it. I suppose some games take longer to become addictive and I probably haven't given 4 a chance. It's fun enough, I guess.

I cannot stand 4! It looks like an unfinished job. I mean, just look at the graphics. And they mixed all the races and towns... Ahh! Unplayable. 3 is soo cool.
The only improved thing is hero management.

(This is purely my opinion so don't get offended)

I can almost agree with you i think it is wery difficult to play and the spell system is TO advanced and the Townportal spell or what the name is is only work for you to get to the nearest town and that is NOT cool when you have a XL map to play on and where is the "dimentionrift" spell? gone, i have never seen it in this game so this days i downloade 300 new maps to Homm III and i play that game all the time and Homm 4 don`t i play anymore! maby a little but not mutch.

Still waiting for the multiplayer patch for HOMM4 to be released... Until then, making a real comparison is a bit unfair.

Oh, they came out with 4. Is it any good. I prefer humans and devils. Arch Angels and Arch Devils are soooo cool. Please, anyone cue me in.
